1934. It became effective the following year. The presidential act created a
social insurance program designed to pay retired workers age 5 or older a

American Savings Education Council

The Council is a coalition of private and public sector institutions, attempts

financial independence. ASEC's goal is to make saving and planning a vital
concern of Americans and in the economic interests of employers. There are a
large amount of online tools, including the ballpark estimate tool
(calculates how much you need to save for retirement), the financial plan
